At the turn of 2019, the Mannheim-based gas engine manufacturer increased the amount of its yearly donation from \u20ac10,000 to a total of \u20ac15,000. The donation is used for researching brain metastases of pediatric carcinoma. <\/p>\n<p>On behalf of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, Managing Director Peter K\u00f6rner, Marketing Manager Dr. Fernando Cant\u00fa, and Communication Frank Fuhrmann handed the \u20ac15,000 check to PD Dr. med. Michael Karremann, Senior Physician of the Pediatric Clinic, and Prof. Dr. med. Apart from leukemia, brain tumors are among the most common types of cancer in children and youths. &#8220;With our donation, we would like to contribute to the treatment of pediatric carcinoma&#8221;, said Peter K\u00f6rner when handing over the donation check.
