Managing Director Gunter Steinmann will retire on October 31, 2026. He has held various management positions at Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH since 2010. In particular, he played a key role in shaping the international expansion of the service business under the MWM brand. He joined the management in February 2026.

After 16 years with Caterpillar Energy Solutions, Managing Director Gunter Steinmann will retire on October 31, 2026. Steinmann was appointed to the management on February 1, 2026, bringing with him his many years of international leadership and service experience.
International Leadership Roles in Service Business
Steinmann joined Caterpillar Energy Solutions on October 1, 2010, as Head of Service Germany. From 2018 to 2024, he served as Service Manager MWM Direct Business (EAME). In 2024, he assumed the position of Global Service Director for the MWM brand before being appointed to the management in February 2026.
In his various roles, Steinmann was especially instrumental in shaping the further development of the service business and the international customer focus of the MWM brand. His priorities were reliable solutions, long-term customer relationships, and collaboration within a strong and flexible team.
