In 2022/2023, Caterpillar Energy Solutions celebrated the 100th anniversary of the MWM brand with a comprehensive brand campaign. After reaching the top 5 in the “Industry & Engineering” ranking of the German Online Communication Award (DPOK), Caterpillar Energy Solutions also impressed the jury of the German Business Communication Award (DPWK) with its “100 Years of MWM Brand” campaign. In the “Event Communication” category, Caterpillar Energy Solutions is one of the five companies shortlisted for the DPWK 2024. The award ceremony, which is organized by Business Communication students of the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Berlin, will take place on July 11, 2024.

Landing page showcases development of MWM brand over the past decades

On a landing page custom-designed for the 100th brand anniversary, the extensive history and development of the MWM brand and the most important milestones were presented using a digital timeline. Employees, partners, and customers also had the opportunity to submit their personal “MWM moments”, which were shown on the timeline. “The active participation of partners and customers demonstrates the appeal of the MWM brand even after 100 years”, says Frank Fuhrmann, Manager Communications at Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH, who is responsible for the campaign. “The landing page impressively shows how the MWM brand has evolved over the past decades, while retaining its identity.” In addition, the landing page features interviews with brand experts, a virtual archive of the historical employee magazine, and the transformation of the MWM brand logo. Moreover, a monthly quiz was organized in which participants could answer questions about the MWM brand.
