150 Jahre MWM – 150 years of continuous innovation

Around the globe, the MWM brand stands for powerful, reliable gas engines and power gensets. At the traditional location Mannheim, the history of engine building and of the MWM brand goes back 150 years. The brand was developed by a number of prominent people such as the company founder and automobile pioneer Carl Benz and the engineer and inventor Prosper L’Orange. In celebration of the 150th anniversary, a video has now been released about the origins and evolution of the MWM brand.

Digital Insight into the Multi-Talent among the MWM Gas Engines (Available as V12, V16, and V20): With their improved output, secure control, and high profitability, the MWM TCG 3020 V20 gas engines are regarded as multi-talents among gas engines. MWM keeping Jena-Pößneck warm (In German language)

On August 16, 2012 Jena TV reported on the renovation of the power modules in the cogeneration power plant operated by the municipal utility Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck. Two new natural gas engines from MWM are taking up where the old modules, which were in service for a total of 17 years, left off.
