In December, two apprentices from Caterpillar Energy Solutions handed over gifts from the “Wish Tree” campaign to the St. Josef Children’s Home in Käfertal and the Schifferkinderheim in Seckenheim.

Two apprentices from Caterpillar Energy Solutions fulfilled the Christmas wishes of children from two children’s homes in Mannheim, Germany, by handing over colorfully wrapped gifts. For several years, the employees of Caterpillar Energy Solutions at the Mannheim site and of two MWM Service Centers have been organizing the internal “Wish Tree” campaign to collect gifts for the children in the homes.

Christmas Gifts Large and Small

To ensure that the colorful packages reached the children in time for Christmas, the two Caterpillar Energy Solutions trainees Joy Ndewa and Oleksandr Tkalenko visited the St. Josef Children’s Home in Käfertal and the Schifferkinderheim in Seckenheim on December 15. “We hope that the children at the two homes enjoy the Christmas gifts”, says Peter Körner, Managing Director of Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH. “A huge thank you to the employees of Caterpillar Energy Solutions for rolling out and supporting the Wishing Tree campaign.”

In the context of the “Wish Tree” campaign, Caterpillar Energy Solutions employees handed over Christmas gifts for children at two children’s homes in Mannheim, Germany.
