With the help of the free online tool AiKomPass, users can create a personal profile for career development and submission to employers from the metal and electrical industry. The objective of the tool is to make personal skills, competencies, and expertise visible in order to increase the chances of finding a job. AiKomPass can be used in various languages. In order to make it easier for Ukrainian refugees to access the German labor market, Caterpillar Energy Solutions has translated the online tool into Ukrainian in collaboration with a translation agency.

AiKomPass has already been around for 10 years. Previously, the online tool was available in English, French, German, Italian, and Swedish. The Ukrainian translation now enables people from Ukraine to use the tool in their own language. Upon completion, the overall profile is automatically translated to German for easy, direct submission in application processes. “With our translation, we want to contribute to the expansion of AgenturQ’s offering”, says Peter Körner, Director of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, and adds: “AgenturQ is doing a lot to qualify employees in the metal and electrical industry. The work done by the agency is appreciated by the labor union and by the employer association alike.”
The AiKomPass queries various areas in which the user has acquired useful professional skills. This comprises the resume, specialized skills relevant to the metal and electrical industry, other areas, language and computer skills, and knowledge and skills acquired in hobbies.
