At the turn of the year, Caterpillar Energy Solutions again supported the research of the Pediatric Oncology unit of the University Medical Center Mannheim (UMM) with a donation. The amount of €15,000 was donated to the Pediatric Oncology unit of the UMM for research and treatment of children and youths who have cancer.
On behalf of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, Managing Director Peter Körner and Frank Fuhrmann handed over the €15,000 check. The Pediatric Oncology unit is part of the Pediatric Clinic of the University Medical Center Mannheim. The donation is used for a research project on brain metastases of pediatric carcinoma. “We are eager to support this vital research with a donation”, says Peter Körner, Managing Director. “The pediatric oncology team does valuable work, which we are happy to promote.”
